Inaugural CUSD-wide Community Engagement Fair
On October 10th, the we hosted the first ever Capistrano Unified School District-wide Community Engagement Fair. With 25 tables (each with a nonprofit or city with volunteer or job opportunities), around 100 students attended to learn about ways to engage in their community. Dana Hills High School also announced the launch of their California State Seal of Civic Engagement pilot program, which further expands students' opportunity to develop their passions and skills, participate in Service Learning, and impact their community.
We were honored to have CUSD Insider and the Dana Point Times cover our fair! Please read their articles below to learn more about the fair.
